Before stepping into the world of interpreting, Jamila spent more than 13 years in the mental health field, holding space for others with depth, compassion, and insight. That foundation shapes the way she supports interpreters - with intention, care, and a deep understanding of what it means to carry other people’s stories.

As a lover of the arts, film, culture, and language, Jamila understands nuance -  the layers beneath words, the energy in a room, and the unspoken weight interpreters often hold.
